Peer and social support for ex servicemen and women

Leaving the armed forces for many can be a stressful and confusing time. Alongside the challenges associated with finding employment and housing, social support is often lost. It can be difficult for people who have not served to understand these challenges.

Our drop-in support groups provide a space for ex-servicemen and women to meet, chat, and support one another.

Our groups are hosted by ex-servicemen who have experienced the challenges and opportunities to build a new life and career outside the military.

We provide empathy and understanding, question assumptions, and encourage the development of a future-focused mindset.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

Our drop-in groups are not mental health peer support groups, but we provide support for those experiencing issues with their mental health or well-being.

Groups are hosted by facilitators with lived experience of mental health conditions. Our facilitators are experienced mental health first aiders and have completed accredited training related to mental health for veterans.
